Descripción
ANKRD22 is a protein containing multiple ankyrin repeat domains that mediate interactions with other proteins, allowing it to function as a regulator in diverse cellular pathways. ANKRD22 has been implicated in immune responses and cellular stress pathways, where it may play a role in regulating inflammation or apoptotic signaling. It is thought to participate in transcriptional regulation and the modulation of gene expression, particularly in response to stress or environmental cues.
