Mouse Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein 1 (ORM1) ELISA Kit is an ELISA Kit for the in vitro quantitative measurement of Mouse Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein 1 (ORM1) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein (Orosomucoid 1)No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein (Orosomucoid 1) and analogues was observed.
Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein (ORM1), also known as orosomucoid, is an acute-phase plasma protein predominantly synthesized in the liver. ORM1 is a part of the acute-phase response, where its levels in the blood increase in response to inflammation, infection, or injury. It is a 43-44 kDa glycoprotein well known as a one of the major acute phase proteins in humans, rats and many other spices The carbohydrate content represents 45% of the molecular weight attached in the form of five to six highly sialylated complex-type-N-linked glycans.ORM1 has since been studied extensively for its role in immune regulation, drug binding, and inflammation.

This product is for research use only.

The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments.

Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.
