Descripción

Lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 3 (LAMP3), also known as DC-LAMP, is a lysosomal membrane protein predominantly expressed in dendritic cells and other immune cells, where it plays a critical role in antigen processing and presentation LAMP3 expression increases during dendritic cell maturation, facilitating the regulation of lysosomal function and endosomal trafficking It is also involved in lysosome-mediated autophagy and immune responses by regulating cellular degradation pathways Dysregulation of LAMP3 has been linked to cancer progression and metastasis, particularly in breast, cervical, and lung cancers, where its overexpression promotes tumor cell survival and invasion through altered lysosomal activity Additionally, LAMP3 has been implicated in hypoxia response pathways, contributing to cellular adaptation to low oxygen environments Emerging studies highlight its role in viral infections, where it can affect viral replication and host immune response, making LAMP3 a potential biomarker for immune regulation and cancer prognosis

Lysosomal Associated Membrane Protein 3 (LAMP3) Antibody

LAMP3 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against LAMP3. Lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LAMP3 gene. LAMP3 has also recently been designated CD208. Dendritic cells (DCs) are the most potent antigen-presenting cells. Immature DCs efficiently capture antigens and differentiate into interdigitating dendritic cells (IDCs) in lymphoid tissues that induce primary T-cell responses.May play a role in dendritic cell function and in adaptive immunity.
