Descripcion del producto en español
Background en español
LRRC19 is a membrane protein implicated in innate immune signaling where it functions as a pattern recognition receptor (PRR) involved in the detection of microbial components it directly activates downstream pathways such as nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades essential for initiating inflammatory responses LRRC19 is predominantly expressed in dendritic cells and macrophages where it contributes to pathogen recognition and the activation of adaptive immunity by promoting antigen presentation studies suggest LRRC19 plays a critical role in the regulation of pro-inflammatory cytokine production and may act as a mediator in host-pathogen interactions its dysregulation has been associated with chronic inflammatory diseases and autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease ongoing research is exploring its potential as a target for modulating inflammatory responses and its involvement in maintaining immune homeostasis during infections and sterile inflammation
