LRRC70 is a poorly characterized member of the LRRC family believed to be involved in cellular signaling and cytoskeletal organization bioinformatics analyses suggest its expression in immune cells and epithelial tissues with potential roles in regulating cell adhesion and migration LRRC70 is hypothesized to contribute to processes such as tissue remodeling and immune responses by interacting with extracellular matrix components and signaling molecules while experimental evidence on its function is limited its leucine-rich repeat domains likely mediate protein-protein interactions in pathways related to cellular communication ongoing studies aim to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and explore its relevance in inflammatory diseases and conditions involving epithelial dysfunction
