Background

LRRC4C, or netrin-G ligand 4 (NGL-4), is a member of the leucine-rich repeat protein family involved in synaptic adhesion, axon guidance, and neural circuit formation. It binds to netrin-G proteins at synaptic junctions, facilitating the establishment and stabilization of excitatory synapses in the central nervous system.
