Descripción
LRRC37B is another member of the LRRC37 family expressed predominantly in the brain and immune system studies suggest its involvement in synaptic organization and immune signaling with potential roles in maintaining neural plasticity and modulating inflammatory responses LRRC37B has been associated with cellular adhesion and cytoskeletal regulation processes that are critical for neural connectivity and intracellular signaling its expression has been linked to neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders where dysregulation of LRRC37B may contribute to impaired synaptic function and neuroinflammation emerging evidence indicates that LRRC37B may also play a role in tumor microenvironments by influencing immune cell recruitment and extracellular matrix remodeling further research is needed to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and assess its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in neurological and inflammatory diseases as well as cancer biology
