Background
IGSF6 is primarily expressed in immune cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, and lymphocytes, and is associated with inflammatory signaling and immune activation. Structurally, it contains Ig-like domains that mediate cell-cell interactions in the immune system. IGSF6 is implicated in modulating immune responses during infections and autoimmune diseases, playing a role in regulating cytokine release and immune cell migration.
