Description
Hydroxyproline Assay Kit is an assay kit for the detection and quantification of Hydroxyproline concentrations in animal tissue homogenates using a spectrophotometer (Acid hydrolysis Method). Hydroxyproline can produce oxidation product under the action of oxidizing agent. Oxidized hydroxyproline reacts with dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, resulting in a purplish red color. The concentration of hydroxyproline can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 550 nm.
