Description
Hydroxyproline Assay Kit is an assay kit for the detection and quantification of Hydroxyproline concentrations in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and body fluids using a spectrophotometer (Alkali hydrolysis Method).Alpha-1-AntichymotrypsinOxidized hydroxyproline reacts with dimethylaminobenzaldehyde, resulting in a purplish red color. The concentration of hydroxyproline can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 550 nm.
