For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Testis specific protein Y-linked 8 (TSPY8) is another member of the TSPY family, playing a critical role in spermatogenesis and male fertility Like other TSPY proteins, TSPY8 is expressed in the testis and is involved in regulating the development and maintenance of spermatogonial stem cells These stem cells are vital for continuous sperm production, and TSPY8’s role in regulating their differentiation and proliferation ensures the proper progression of spermatogenesis During cell division and differentiation, TSPY8 helps to regulate the survival and maturation of germ cells, maintaining the balance between cell death and cell renewal TSPY8’s expression is tightly controlled during male reproductive development, and any dysregulation can lead to infertility or an increased risk of testicular cancer, particularly germ cell tumors Altered expression of TSPY8 may disrupt the normal processes of spermatogenesis, contributing to abnormal sperm production and fertility problems
