Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Testis specific protein Y-linked 3 (TSPY3) is a gene within the TSPY family that is involved in the regulation of spermatogenesis and male fertility TSPY3 is specifically expressed in the testis, where it plays a key role in the development and maintenance of spermatogonial stem cells These stem cells are responsible for producing sperm throughout a male's life, making TSPY3 crucial for maintaining spermatogenesis by ensuring that germ cells proliferate and differentiate properly The exact mechanisms of TSPY3’s function are still under study, but it is believed to interact with other proteins and transcription factors that control germ cell differentiation and apoptosis to ensure proper cell survival and development during spermatogenesis Dysregulation of TSPY3 expression has been associated with infertility and testicular disorders, particularly in conditions where abnormal expression patterns contribute to testicular cancer and germ cell tumors where it may disrupt normal cellular regulation and promote tumorigenesis TSPY3’s regulatory role in maintaining male reproductive health, its impact on genomic stability, and its association with cancer highlight its importance in male fertility and in preventing reproductive system diseases
