For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Testis specific protein Y-linked 2 (TSPY2) is a member of the TSPY gene family that plays a critical role in male reproductive health, particularly in the regulation of spermatogenesis TSPY2 is located on the Y chromosome and is predominantly expressed in testicular tissue, where it regulates the development and differentiation of male germ cells, ensuring proper spermatogenesis It is involved in maintaining spermatogonial stem cell populations and facilitating their differentiation into mature sperm TSPY2’s role is vital for male fertility, as it promotes the survival and proliferation of germ cells during the various stages of spermatogenesis The protein is thought to interact with other cellular factors involved in cell cycle regulation and apoptosis to ensure that only healthy, fully differentiated sperm are produced Dysregulation of TSPY2 expression has been linked to various reproductive issues, including infertility and testicular cancer, particularly in germ cell tumors where its expression can lead to uncontrolled cell division and disrupted differentiation processes Its involvement in regulating key processes of spermatogenesis also makes TSPY2 a promising candidate for future diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in the management of male fertility disorders and testicular cancer
