Semaphorin 7A (SEMA7A), also referred to as CD108 (Cluster of Differentiation 108) and known for the John-Milton-Hagen (JMH) blood group antigen, is a membrane-bound semaphorin that attaches to cell surfaces through a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) linkage. SEMA7A is expressed by various lymphoid and myeloid cell types and plays a significant role as an immunomodulator.
