Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
Gamma-glutamyltransferase 3 pseudogene (GGT3P) is a non-functional homolog of the gamma-glutamyltransferase 3 (GGT3) gene, lacking enzymatic activity due to mutations or genomic rearrangements that prevent its expression as a functional protein GGT3P, like other pseudogenes, may contribute to the regulation of its functional counterparts through non-coding RNAs or by acting as a decoy for transcription factors and microRNAs Although little is known about the direct biological function of GGT3P, pseudogenes are increasingly recognized for their role in gene expression regulation, particularly in cancer, where they can influence tumor progression and cellular responses to oxidative stress The GGT gene family, including GGT3P, is associated with glutathione metabolism, a critical process for cellular detoxification and redox balance Understanding the regulatory role of pseudogenes like GGT3P provides insights into their contribution to gene expression networks and disease processes
