Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
DENND10 pseudogene 1 (DENND10P1) is a non-functional pseudogene derived from its parent gene DENND10, which belongs to the DENN (differentially expressed in normal and neoplastic cells) domain-containing family. This pseudogene lacks the ability to encode a functional protein but may still play a role in regulatory processes at the RNA level. While the parent gene DENND10 is involved in intracellular trafficking and serves as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAB proteins, facilitating vesicle transport and membrane dynamics, the specific contribution of DENND10P1 is less clear. Pseudogenes like DENND10P1 can act as regulatory RNA molecules, potentially influencing the expression of their functional counterparts by acting as decoys or through competitive endogenous RNA mechanisms. The transcriptional activity of DENND10P1 may vary across tissues, and its expression levels could be of interest in studies of gene regulation, evolution, or disease, particularly in cancer or other pathological states where pseudogenes often become dysregulated. Future research may further elucidate its potential biological significance or its implications in genomic studies.
