Form
Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in PBS, pH 7.4. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in PBS, pH 7.4, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex.

Descripción

Nucleoporin 153 (NUP153) is an essential component of the nuclear pore complex (NPC) that plays a significant role in nucleocytoplasmic transport NUP153 is involved in the structural maintenance of the NPC and aids in the selective trafficking of proteins, RNA, and ribosomal subunits across the nuclear envelope It functions as an anchor point for other nucleoporins, stabilizing the nuclear pore structure and facilitating the proper exchange of molecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm NUP153 also participates in the regulation of gene expression, ensuring the efficient export of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm for translation During cell division, NUP153 helps maintain nuclear envelope integrity, ensuring proper nuclear compartmentalization and cell cycle progression Dysregulation of NUP153 has been linked to various diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, where faulty nuclear transport can disrupt cellular processes, leading to genomic instability and abnormal cell proliferation

NUP153 antibody

Component of the nuclear pore complex(NPC), a complex required for the trafficking across the nuclear envelope. Functions as a scaffolding element in the nuclear phase of the NPC essential for normal nucleocytoplasmic transport of proteins and mRNAs. Involved in the quality control and retention of unspliced mRNAs in the nucleus; in association with TPR, regulates the nuclear export of unspliced mRNA species bearing constitutive transport element(CTE) in a NXF1-and KHDRBS1-independent manner. Mediates TPR anchoring to the nuclear membrane at NPC. The repeat-containing domain may be involved in anchoring other components of the NPC to the pore membrane. Possible DNA-binding subunit of the nuclear pore complex(NPC).

Nucleoporin 153 (NUP153) Antibody

Nuclear pore complexes are extremely elaborate structures that mediate the regulated movement of macromolecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm. These complexes are composed of at least 100 different polypeptide subunits, many of which belong to the nucleoporin family. Nucleoporins are pore complex-specific glycoproteins characterized by cytoplasmically oriented O-linked N-acetylglucosamine residues and numerous repeats of the pentapeptide sequence XFXFG. This protein has three distinct domains: a N-terminal region within which a pore targeting domain has been identified, a central region containing multiple zinc finger motifs, and a C-terminal region containing multiple XFXFG repeats.
