Descripción
MAS1L is a gene that is closely related to MAS1 and encodes a G protein-coupled receptor with a similar structure and function. MAS1L shares homology with MAS1 but differs in its tissue distribution and specific biological roles. MAS1L is involved in regulating cellular signaling pathways related to blood pressure regulation, neuropeptide signaling, and inflammation. It has been shown to play a role in modulating the effects of neuropeptides in the central nervous system, particularly in the regulation of neuronal excitability and neurotransmitter release. MAS1L also interacts with components of the renin-angiotensin system, influencing vasodilation and fluid balance.
