Form | Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. |

Descripción
Nuclear receptor subfamily 5 group A member 2 (NR5A2), also known as liver receptor homolog-1 (LRH-1), is a nuclear receptor involved in regulating the expression of genes responsible for bile acid metabolism, cholesterol homeostasis, and the function of the liver and intestine NR5A2 is expressed in tissues such as the liver, pancreas, and ovaries, where it regulates the synthesis and metabolism of cholesterol and bile acids It also plays an essential role in the differentiation of hepatocytes and the maintenance of liver function, including processes like gluconeogenesis and lipid metabolism NR5A2 is involved in controlling the transcription of genes that influence energy metabolism, steroidogenesis, and inflammatory responses Dysregulation of NR5A2 can lead to metabolic disorders, including dyslipidemia and liver disease, and has also been implicated in some cancers, particularly liver and ovarian cancers The role of NR5A2 in maintaining metabolic homeostasis and regulating bile acid synthesis makes it an important target for therapies aimed at treating metabolic and liver-related diseases

NR5A2 antibody
Binds to the sequence element 5'-AACGACCGACCTTGAG-3' of the enhancer II of hepatitis B virus genes, a critical cis-element of their expression and regulation. May be responsible for the liver-specific activity of enhancer II, probably in combination with other hepatocyte transcription factors. Key regulator of cholesterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase gene(CYP7A) expression in liver. May also contribute to the regulation of pancreas-specific genes and play important roles in embryonic development.
