Descripción
LRRC72 is a leucine-rich repeat-containing protein believed to function in cellular signaling, protein-protein interactions, and immune regulation, although its exact biological role remains to be fully characterized. LRRC72 is predicted to interact with components of immune signaling pathways and extracellular matrix proteins, suggesting a role in immune responses, cell adhesion, and tissue remodeling. Its expression is enriched in immune and epithelial tissues, where it may regulate responses to stress or environmental cues. Emerging evidence links LRRC72 to inflammatory processes and immune system regulation, although functional studies are still ongoing. Dysregulation of LRRC72 may contribute to immune dysfunction and inflammatory diseases due to its role in maintaining proper signaling balance during immune activation and cellular stress responses.
