If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
CD79A, also known as Ig-alpha, is a protein encoded by the CD79A gene in humans. It is a crucial component of the B cell receptor (BCR) complex, playing a significant role in B cell development, activation, and signaling. The BCR complex is essential for the adaptive immune response, allowing B cells to recognize and respond to specific antigens. CD79A, along with CD79B (Ig-beta), forms the signaling component of the BCR, transmitting signals from the antigen-bound surface immunoglobulin (Ig) to the cell's interior, initiating a cascade of intracellular events leading to B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation.

anti- CD79A antibody
Required in cooperation with CD79B for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex(BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. Also required for BCR surface expression and for efficient differentiation of pro-and pre-B-cells. Stimulates SYK autophosphorylation and activation. Binds to BLNK, bringing BLNK into proximity with SYK and allowing SYK to phosphorylate BLNK. Also interacts with and increases activity of some Src-family tyrosine kinases. Represses BCR signaling during development of immature B-cells.
