Descripción
AGAP6 is a member of the AGAP family, characterized by the presence of a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) domain, ankyrin repeats, and a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, which together enable its involvement in vesicular trafficking, cytoskeletal dynamics, and membrane-associated signaling. AGAP6 primarily regulates the activity of Arf GTPases, playing a role in endocytic recycling, vesicle transport, and actin cytoskeleton remodeling. While AGAP6 is less well-characterized compared to other AGAP family members, it is expressed in various tissues and is thought to participate in processes such as cell migration, signal transduction, and possibly membrane trafficking in specialized cellular contexts
