Descripción
AGAP11 is a less-characterized member of the AGAP family, implicated in cytoskeletal remodeling, membrane trafficking, and signal transduction. It shares structural features with other AGAP proteins, including ankyrin repeats and a PH domain, which facilitate its role in protein-protein interactions and membrane dynamics. AGAP11 is expressed in multiple tissues and may participate in processes such as endocytosis, vesicle trafficking, and the regulation of cell motility. Emerging evidence suggests its involvement in tumorigenesis, where altered AGAP11 expression contributes to cancer progression, cell invasion, and metastasis. Further studies are required to fully elucidate its biological roles and clinical significance.
