ANKRD43 ( SOWAHA) is a protein belonging to the ankyrin repeat domain family, characterized by its scaffold-like structure that facilitates protein-protein interactions. It is believed to play a role in signal transduction and transcriptional regulation, particularly during developmental and differentiation processes. ANKRD43’s expression may be tissue-specific, indicating a specialized function in certain cell types.
