ANKRD35 is another member of the ankyrin repeat protein family, characterized by its ability to mediate protein-protein interactions involved in transcriptional regulation and chromatin organization. ANKRD35 is thought to act as a nuclear scaffold protein, coordinating the activity of other nuclear factors that regulate gene expression.
