Note | Validity: The validity for this kit is 6 months. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
ANAPC7 is a structural and functional subunit of the Anaphase-Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C), where it supports the overall assembly and function of the complex. ANAPC7 acts as a scaffold protein, interacting with other subunits to stabilize the architecture of APC/C and ensure efficient ubiquitin transfer to its substrates. It contributes to the recognition and ubiquitination of key cell cycle regulators, including cyclin B and securin, promoting their degradation to trigger the metaphase-to-anaphase transition and mitotic exit. ANAPC7 is essential for maintaining cell cycle fidelity and genomic stability. Dysregulation of ANAPC7 impairs APC/C function, leading to defective chromosome segregation, aneuploidy, and increased susceptibility to cancer. Emerging evidence suggests that ANAPC7 may also play a role in stress responses and DNA damage repair, linking it to broader cellular regulatory networks. Its critical role in APC/C function highlights its significance in both normal cell division and tumor suppression.
