Description
Glucose Assay Kit is an assay kit designed for the detection and quantification of Glucose concentrations in serum, plasma and urine using a fluorescence microplate reader. Glucose oxidase catalyzes the oxidation of glucose into gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide. In the presence of peroxidase, hydrogen peroxide reacts with a non-fluorescent substance to form a fluorescent reaction product. The glucose content can be calculated indirectly by measuring the fluorescence intensity at the excitation wavelength of 535 nm and the emission wavelength of 590 nm.
