Description
ECHINOCOCCUS Western Blot (WB) IgG is a qualitative test of serological IgG diagnosis by immunoblot assay of alveolar and cystic echinococcosis intended for confirmatory testing of a positive or equivocal result obtained through classic screening tests.The differential diagnosis of E. granulosus (E. g) versus E. multilocularis (E. m) species is made by searching for specific bands of either species in the reading area.

ECHINOCOCCUS Western Blot (WB) IgG es una prueba cualitativa de diagnóstico serológico de IgG mediante un ensayo de inmunotransferencia para la equinococosis alveolar y quística. Está destinada a confirmar un resultado positivo o dudoso obtenido a través de pruebas de detección clásicas. El diagnóstico diferencial entre las especies E. granulosus (E. g) y E. multilocularis (E. m) se realiza mediante la búsqueda de bandas específicas de cada especie en el área de lectura.
