Description
Copper Assay Kit is an assay kit designed for the detection and quantification of Copper concentrations in serum and plasma using a microplate reader. In acidic conditions, any copper ions present in the sample react with 3,5-DiBr-PAESA to form a purple complex which has a maximum absorption peak at 580 nm. The copper ion concentration can be calculated indirectly by measuring the absorbance at 580 nm.
