Descripción
Arylacetamide deacetylase like 4 (AADACL4) is another serine hydrolase that shares functional similarities with other members of the AADACL family, particularly in its involvement in lipid hydrolysis and metabolism. AADACL4 is expressed in a range of tissues, including metabolic and epithelial tissues, where it contributes to the breakdown of ester-linked lipids. It is thought to play a role in lipid signaling and energy regulation by modulating the availability of lipid-derived signaling molecules.
