Descripción

TRAF7 is a unique member of the TRAF family that functions as both a signaling adaptor protein and an E3 ubiquitin ligase. Unlike other TRAFs, TRAF7 primarily regulates noncanonical pathways, including MAPK, NF-κB, and apoptosis signaling, through its role in ubiquitination and protein degradation. TRAF7 interacts with TNF receptor family members, Toll-like receptors (TLRs), and transcription factors like p53 to regulate inflammation, cell survival, and apoptosis. It is widely expressed in epithelial tissues, immune cells, and the nervous system, where it plays roles in tissue homeostasis, cellular stress responses, and immune regulation. Dysregulation of TRAF7 has been associated with cancers, including meningiomas and sarcomas, where it affects cell proliferation and survival. Functional studies demonstrate its dual role in promoting cell survival and apoptosis, depending on cellular context, highlighting its significance in signaling regulation, ubiquitination, and tumor suppression.

TNF Receptor-Associated Factor 7 (TRAF7) Antibody

TRAF7 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against TRAF7. Tumor necrosis factor (TNF; see MIM 191160) receptor-associated factors, such as TRAF7, are signal transducers for members of the TNF receptor superfamily (see MIM 191190). TRAFs are composed of an N-terminal cysteine/histidine-rich region containing zinc RING and/or zinc finger motifs; a coiled-coil (leucine zipper) motif; and a homologous region that defines the TRAF family, the TRAF domain, which is involved in self-association and receptor binding.
