Background
ANXA3 is a calcium- and phospholipid-binding protein that regulates membrane trafficking, signal transduction, and inflammatory responses. It is expressed in various tissues, including immune and endothelial cells, and plays a role in angiogenesis and immune cell function. ANXA3 regulates phospholipase A2 (PLA2) activity, influencing arachidonic acid metabolism and eicosanoid production during inflammation.
