Descripción
ANKRD29 is a protein with multiple ankyrin repeat domains, facilitating protein-protein interactions and playing a role in cellular signaling pathways. Although ANKRD29 is less well characterized, it is thought to function in the regulation of gene expression and protein stability through its interactions with nuclear and cytosolic proteins. Emerging evidence suggests that ANKRD29 may participate in processes such as cell differentiation, transcriptional regulation, and stress responses, particularly in developmental and immune-related pathways. Its dysregulation has been tentatively linked to pathological conditions such as developmental disorders and certain cancers. Further studies are needed to clarify its molecular mechanisms and cellular roles.
