ANKRD2, also known as Arpp (ankyrin repeat protein with PEST domain), is a member of the muscle ankyrin repeat protein (MARP) family. ANKRD2 functions as a stress-response protein that regulates transcription in response to mechanical stretch, injury, or oxidative stress.
