Descripción
ANKRD10 is a protein containing multiple ankyrin repeat domains, which mediate protein-protein interactions in various cellular processes. Although ANKRD10 remains poorly characterized, it is believed to be involved in transcriptional regulation, signal transduction, and cellular localization processes. ANKRD10 has been observed to localize to the nucleus, where it may influence gene expression and chromatin organization. Emerging evidence suggests its role in cell differentiation and proliferation, particularly in developmental contexts. Mutations or dysregulation of ANKRD10 have been associated with neurodevelopmental and neuromuscular conditions. Its ability to form protein complexes highlights its role as a scaffold protein involved in coordinating intracellular signaling and transcription regulation.
