Description
Albumin Assay Kit is an assay kit designed for the detection and quantification of Albumin concentrations in serum and plasma using a microplate reader. Bromocresol green (BCG) is widely used as protein staining agent. BCG combines with albumin in pH 4.0-4.2 to form an albumin-BCG complex, resulting in a color change. The intensity of color is proportional to the concentration of albumin. The content of albumin in serum can be calculated indirectly by measuring the absorbance at 630 nm.
