Descripción
The AFF (AF4/FMR2) family member refers to a group of proteins associated with various cellular functions, particularly in the context of gene regulation and transcriptional control. The name "AFF" comes from the fusion partner of MLL (Mixed-Lineage Leukemia) in certain leukemia cases. AFF3 also known as LAF4 (lymphoid nuclear protein related to AF4), plays roles in transcriptional regulation in lymphoid cells.
