Description
Acid Phosphatase (ACP) Assay Kit is an Assay Kit by Colorimetric Method for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, urine and hydrothorax using a microplate reader. Acid phosphatase decomposes disodium phenyl phosphate under acidic conditions to produce free phenol and phosphoric acid. Phenol reacts with 4-aminoantipyrine in alkaline solution, and oxidizes to a derivative of red quinone in the presence of potassium ferricyanide.
