Tissue-Tek

Description

Tissue-Tek is a compound embedding medium for frozen tissue specimens to ensure optimal cutting temperature (O.C.T.). It is a formulation of water soluble glycols and resins that provides an excellent specimen matrix for cryostat sectioning at temperatures at and below  -10 °C. It helps eliminate background staining by leaving no residue on the slides during the staining procedure.
