Por favor contáctenos para obtener información detallada sobre el precio y disponibilidad.
Description
SERPINB9 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against SERPINB9. This gene encodes a member of the serine protease inhibitor family which are also known as serpins. The encoded protein belongs to a subfamily of intracellular serpins. This protein inhibits the activity of the effector molecule granzyme B. Overexpression of this protein may prevent cytotoxic T-lymphocytes from eliminating certain tumor cells. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 6.

Descripción
SERPINB9, also known as Cytoplasmic Antiproteinase 9 (CAP9) or PI-9, is a member of the serpin (serine protease inhibitor) superfamily. This protein plays a critical role in protecting cells from granzyme B, a serine protease involved in inducing apoptosis in target cells. Granzyme B is a key component of the immune system's cytotoxic mechanisms, primarily used by cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and natural killer (NK) cells to eliminate infected or transformed cells. SERPINB9 is encoded by the SERPINB9 gene, which is located on chromosome 6p25. The protein has been highly conserved throughout evolution, underscoring its vital role in immune regulation. Unlike many other serpins that operate extracellularly, SERPINB9 is an intracellular serpin, making it an integral component of cellular defense mechanisms against protease-mediated apoptosis.
