SEMA3A (Semaphorin 3A) is a member of the class 3 semaphorin family, functioning as a guidance cue in axonal development and neuronal migration. It binds to neuropilin-1 (NRP1) and plexin receptors to mediate repulsive signaling in neural networks, playing a critical role in synapse formation and maintenance.
