LRRC63 is a protein associated with microtubule organization and cellular trafficking its expression is predominantly observed in neurons and reproductive tissues where it is believed to influence intracellular transport and cytoskeletal stability studies suggest LRRC63 plays a role in regulating the trafficking of vesicles and organelles along microtubules contributing to cellular homeostasis and signaling bioinformatics predictions link LRRC63 to processes such as neuronal polarization and axonal transport highlighting its potential involvement in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders while direct experimental evidence remains limited ongoing research focuses on elucidating its molecular interactions and assessing its relevance in disorders involving cytoskeletal dysfunction and intracellular transport defects
