Descripción

Nuclear receptor subfamily 0 group B member 1 (NR0B1), also known as DAX-1, is a nuclear receptor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of endocrine function, particularly in the development and function of the gonads and adrenal glands NR0B1 acts as a transcriptional regulator by binding to DNA and influencing the expression of target genes involved in steroidogenesis, sexual differentiation, and reproductive function It functions primarily by repressing the activity of other nuclear receptors, such as steroid hormone receptors, and plays a key role in controlling the balance of sex hormones and their effects on the body NR0B1 is essential for the proper development of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis, and mutations in the NR0B1 gene have been associated with disorders such as 46, XY gonadal dysgenesis, a condition that results in underdeveloped gonads and infertility Additionally, NR0B1 is involved in regulating the development of the central nervous system and the regulation of bone metabolism Dysregulation of NR0B1 has been linked to several endocrine disorders and cancers

Nuclear Receptor Subfamily 0, Group B, Member 1 (NR0B1) Antibody

NR0B1 Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against NR0B1. This gene encodes a protein that contains a DNA-binding domain. The encoded protein acts as a dominant-negative regulator of transcription which is mediated by the retinoic acid receptor. This protein also functions as an anti-testis gene by acting antagonistically to Sry. Mutations in this gene result in both X-linked congenital adrenal hypoplasia and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
