RAB30, member RAS oncogene family (RAB30) is involved in intracellular vesicular trafficking, particularly in the regulation of endosomal sorting and recycling pathways RAB30 helps manage the movement of vesicles between the endosomes and other cellular compartments, ensuring proper protein sorting and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis It plays a role in the transportation of receptors, enzymes, and other cargo proteins to their appropriate destinations, impacting key cellular functions such as signal transduction, membrane recycling, and endocytic processes RAB30 also regulates the activity of various cellular signaling pathways, including those involved in cell adhesion and migration, making it important for both immune cell function and cancer metastasis Additionally, RAB30 is thought to be involved in the regulation of autophagy, a process crucial for cellular health by recycling damaged or unnecessary cellular components Dysregulation of RAB30 can lead to diseases related to impaired vesicular trafficking and cellular signaling, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and immune dysfunction
