Note
THIS PRODUCT IS FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC PROCEDURES. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.
The stability of the kit is determined by the rate of activity loss. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. To minimize performance fluctuations, operation procedures and lab conditions should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same user throughout.

Descripción

Hepatocyte nuclear factor 4 alpha (HNF4A) is a critical transcription factor that plays a key role in regulating liver function, metabolism, and the development of the gastrointestinal tract HNF4A is highly expressed in the liver, where it controls the expression of genes involved in hepatic glucose production, lipid metabolism, and bile acid synthesis It also regulates the development and differentiation of liver cells and contributes to maintaining liver homeostasis HNF4A is involved in controlling genes responsible for the metabolism of steroids, carbohydrates, and lipids, and it is crucial for maintaining the liver's metabolic functions Dysregulation of HNF4A has been associated with metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and liver cirrhosis In addition, mutations in the HNF4A gene can lead to maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY), a form of diabetes characterized by early-onset, autosomal dominant inheritance of insulin resistance

Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor 4 Alpha (HNF4A) Antibody

HNF4A Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against HNF4A. The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear transcription factor which binds DNA as a homodimer. The encoded protein controls the expression of several genes, including hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 alpha, a transcription factor which regulates the expression of several hepatic genes. This gene may play a role in development of the liver, kidney, and intestines. Mutations in this gene have been associated with monogenic autosomal dominant non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus type I. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms.
