We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

Docking protein 2 (DOK2) is another member of the DOK family, predominantly expressed in hematopoietic cells. Like DOK1, DOK2 functions as a negative regulator of tyrosine kinase-mediated signaling pathways. It is essential for modulating immune cell activation, particularly in T cells, B cells, and macrophages. DOK2 interacts with various signaling proteins, such as SH2-containing phosphatase 2 (SHP2) and Ras-GAP, to dampen downstream signaling cascades. This regulation is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing overactivation that could lead to autoimmunity. DOK2 has also been identified as a tumor suppressor, with its inactivation or downregulation contributing to the pathogenesis of leukemias and other cancers. Its roles in both immune regulation and oncogenesis make it a key target for therapeutic research.

DOK2 antibody

DOK proteins are enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding proteins. They provide a docking platform for the assembly of multimolecular signaling complexes. DOK2 may modulate the cellular proliferation induced by IL-4, as well as IL-2 and IL-3. May be involved in modulating Bcr-Abl signaling. Attenuates EGF-stimulated MAP kinase activation(By similarity).

DOK2 (pY299) Antibody

DOK2 (pY299) Antibody is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody against DOK2 (pY299). The protein encoded by this gene is constitutively tyrosine phosphorylated in hematopoietic progenitors isolated from chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients in the chronic phase. It may be a critical substrate for p210(bcr/abl), a chimeric protein whose presence is associated with CML. This encoded protein binds p120 (RasGAP) from CML cells.
