NoteThe validity for this kit is at least 6 months. Up to 12 months validity can be provided on request. This product is for research use only. The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.

Descripción

C-C Chemokine Receptor Type 10 (CCR10) is a G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that binds to two chemokine ligands: CCL27 and CCL28. CCR10 plays a pivotal role in skin and mucosal immunity, primarily regulating the migration of T lymphocytes and other immune cells to tissues such as the epidermis and mucosal surfaces. Its ligand CCL27 is highly expressed in keratinocytes, promoting homing of CCR10-expressing T cells to the skin, which is essential for maintaining cutaneous immune surveillance. This mechanism is also involved in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, where excessive T-cell recruitment to the skin contributes to chronic inflammation and tissue damage. On the other hand, CCL28 expression is upregulated in mucosal tissues like the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts, guiding immune cells expressing CCR10 to these sites to protect against pathogens. CCR10 is highly relevant in the context of allergic diseases, autoimmune skin conditions, and cancer, where dysregulated expression enables tumor cells to evade immune responses or promote metastasis. In cancers, such as melanoma and breast cancer, CCR10 has been associated with tumor progression due to its role in immune cell trafficking and metastasis to skin and mucosal tissues. CCR10 is also a potential target for immunotherapy, as inhibiting its signaling pathway could reduce chronic inflammation or prevent tumor immune escape. Thus, CCR10 is a critical chemokine receptor bridging immunity, inflammation, and oncology, making it a promising candidate for therapeutic interventions.

Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 10 (CCR10) Antibody

Chemokines are a group of small (approximately 8 to 14 kD), mostly basic, structurally related molecules that regulate cell trafficking of various types of leukocytes through interactions with a subset of 7-transmembrane, G protein-coupled receptors. Chemokines also play fundamental roles in the development, homeostasis, and function of the immune system, and they have effects on cells of the central nervous system as well as on endothelial cells involved in angiogenesis or angiostasis. Chemokines are divided into 2 major subfamilies, CXC and CC, based on the arrangement of the first 2 of the 4 conserved cysteine residues; the 2 cysteines are separated by a single amino acid in CXC chemokines and are adjacent in CC chemokines. CCR10 is the receptor for CCL27 (SCYA27; MIM 604833) ; CCR10-CCL27 interactions are involved in T cell-mediated skin inflammation (Homey et al., 2002 [PubMed 11821900]).
