ANKRD42 is a protein containing multiple ankyrin repeat domains, which enable protein-protein interactions critical for cellular signaling and regulation. ANKRD42 is thought to participate in transcriptional regulation and cellular scaffolding, potentially influencing processes such as cell cycle progression and DNA damage response.
