For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments. Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein. |
Descripción
ACAD10 is a mitochondrial enzyme that belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family, involved in the β-oxidation of fatty acids and branched-chain amino acid metabolism. It catalyzes the initial step in the breakdown of specific fatty acids, contributing to energy production and metabolic homeostasis. ACAD10 is highly expressed in tissues with high metabolic activity, such as the liver, muscle, and heart, where it plays a key role in maintaining energy balance. Dysregulation or mutations in ACAD10 have been linked to metabolic disorders, including diabetes and obesity, as well as mitochondrial dysfunction. In addition to its role in energy metabolism, ACAD10 may participate in signaling pathways regulating cellular stress and inflammation, highlighting its broader impact on cellular health. Its enzymatic activity and regulatory functions make ACAD10 a crucial component of metabolic and mitochondrial processes.
