Form
Lyophilized To keep the original salt concentration, we recommend reconstituting to the original concentration prior to lyophilization (see Concentration) in ddH2O. If a lower concentration is required, dilute in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0. If a higher concentration is required, the product can be reconstituted directly in 20 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 8.0, though please note that this will change the overall salt concentration. The stock concentration should be between 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex.

Descripción

TRAF4 is a unique member of the TRAF family that regulates signaling pathways involved in cellular processes such as survival, migration, and cytoskeletal organization. Unlike other TRAF proteins, TRAF4 interacts with various receptors, including TNFR superfamily members, Toll-like receptors, and growth factor receptors, linking them to downstream signaling cascades like Akt, MAPK, and NF-κB. TRAF4 is highly expressed during embryonic development and in epithelial cells, where it plays a role in tissue morphogenesis, cell polarity, and immune responses. It also participates in reactive oxygen species (ROS) regulation and ciliary function. Dysregulation of TRAF4 has been associated with cancer progression, where it promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), cell migration, and invasion. Knockout studies reveal defects in neural tube closure, abnormal epithelial development, and impaired ciliary function, emphasizing its roles in developmental processes and cytoskeletal regulation.

TRAF4 antibody

This gene encodes a member of the TNF receptor associated factor (TRAF) family. TRAF proteins are associated with, and mediate signal transduction from members of the TNF receptor superfamily. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with neurotrophin receptor, p75 (NTR/NTSR1), and negatively regulate NTR induced cell death and NF-kappa B activation. This protein has been found to bind to p47phox, a cytosolic regulatory factor included in a multi-protein complex known as NAD(P)H oxidase. This protein thus, is thought to be involved in the oxidative activation of MAPK8/JNK. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed but the full-length nature of only one has been determined.
